Aftershock Is Now 100% Carbon Neutral!

Australia is one of the highest emitters of greenhouse gas emissions per person in the world. While the governments and other organisations argue over various initiatives and programs, the problem continues to grow at an alarming rate.
At Aftershock we have decided to take responsibility for own actions in reducing the impact upon the environment by the running of our business operation.
With that in mind we are happy to announce that Aftershock is now a 100% Carbon Neutral company.
The offsetting of carbon works by reducing emissions in other areas such as the investment in projects that save energy investment in technology which enables industry to be more efficient, increasing the generation of renewable energy or planting trees to absorb and store carbon dioxide.
We also have and continue to take steps to reduce the impact we place on the environment, by reducing waste, optimising power usage in the office with lighting, air conditioning and computer power usage control.
Of course on our own we will hardly make a scratch in lowering total emissions, so we challenge all companies to consider the impact their organisation is having on the environment, and to AT LEAST take step to even reduce that impact.
