You'll have or be able to show the following skills / attributes:
Technical Skills
- Have industry standard qualifications (MSCE) OR substantial relevant verifiable experience.
- Have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Server / Desktop operating systems, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Office software, hardware, antivirus, firewall, and general networking.
- Have excellent trouble shooting skills and methodology.
Personal Skills
- Excellent communication skills - over the phone and in person.
- Be very well presented as befits a corporate IT company.
- Good spelling and grammar skills required.
- Work well as part of a focused, enthusiastic team.
- You will be based in the Illawarra region.
About the Role
Our clients mainly use, Microsoft Server technologies, such as Small Business Server and Server 2003/2008, SQL Server & Exchange Server and Microsoft Operating Systems.
The role will involve the installation and configuration of Servers and Networking Technologies, and the support and ongoing maintenance of those and other systems.
There will also be a fair amount of normal help desk style calls and requests for general assistance and help, which may be phone, remote, or onsite based. This includes support of Workstation PCs, Printers, Notebooks & other equipment as needed.
Some sales support and onselling will be required.
